Kremer will carry a 6.52 ERA and 7:2 K:BB through 9.2 innings into his next start, which lines up to come on the road next week in Arizona.

Analysis: The 26-year-old was called up by Baltimore on Monday but will return to Norfolk with Gunnar Henderson (intercostal) coming off the injured list. Carlson appeared in two games during his brief time in the majors and went 0-for-4 with a walk, an RBI, a run and four strikeouts.

Analysis: Henderson got a late start to the season after suffering a right intercostal strain in late February, but he's ready to go after playing five rehab games with Triple-A Norfolk and slugging a pair of home runs. The 23-year-old superstar finished fourth in the American League MVP voting in 2024 after collecting an .893 OPS with 37 home runs and 21 stolen bases.

Analysis: Mullins led off the bottom of the first inning with a 374-foot blast off Tanner Houck, his third already this season, to cut Baltimore's deficit to 2-1. The 31-year-old Mullins has gotten off to a fast start, going 8-for-26 with 11 RBI and a pair of stolen bases in his first seven games. Thursday's outing was the first time Mullins has batted leadoff this year, though he's unlikely to remain atop the order with Gunnar Henderson (side) expected to rejoin the Orioles on Friday.

Analysis: Morton had the strikeout pitch working Thursday, recording double-digit punchouts for the first time since 2023. However, the veteran right-hander fell victim to the home-run ball early, giving up a pair of two-run homers to Alex Bregman and Kristian Campbell in each of the first two innings, respectively. Morton's now given up nine runs through his first two starts (8.1 innings) with Baltimore. He'll look to get in the win column in his next outing, currently scheduled for next week in Arizona.

Analysis: The Orioles' decision not to reinstate Henderson from the IL on his first day of eligibility isn't indicative of a setback. Instead, the 1:05 p.m. ET start time for Thursday's contest was likely a major factor, with manager Brandon Hyde telling Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com that Henderson will get a planned rest day after playing five innings in the field Wednesday night in his final rehab game with Triple-A Norfolk. Hyde said that Henderson will rejoin the Orioles in Kansas City ahead of the series opener with the Royals on Friday, and the 23-year-old will likely start at shortstop and bat leadoff in what will be his 2025 MLB debut.

Analysis: It's a routine day off for Mountcastle, who has now started five of the first seven games for the Orioles this season. Ryan O'Hearn will start at first base and Tyler O'Neill will be the designated hitter in Thursday's series finale.

Analysis: Wednesday marked the second time Rodriguez has tossed a bullpen session since getting shut down with right elbow inflammation during spring training, and the right-hander remains in a throwing buildup. It's unclear how far out he is from going on a potential minor-league rehab assignment, but fantasy managers shouldn't expect Rodriguez to rejoin Baltimore's roster until late April at the earliest. In the meantime, Cade Povich is filling in for Rodriguez in the rotation.

Analysis: While Eflin registered a quality start, he was significantly outshined by Garrett Crochet's eight scoreless innings for the Red Sox. Trevor Story tagged Eflin for a solo home run in the second inning, and then the right-hander watched Ceddanne Rafaela and Rafael Devers plate one run apiece in the third frame. On tap for Eflin in his next scheduled start is a tough matchup early next week in Arizona, where he'll be seeking his third consecutive quality start to open the campaign.

Analysis: Sugano said after the game that he's previously dealt with hand cramps at various points during his playing career in Japan, but neither he nor the Orioles are concerned about his health moving forward. Before exiting his start Sunday, Sugano gave up two earned runs on four hits and two walks while striking out one batter over four innings.

Analysis: Though Henderson is poised to rejoin the big club immediately after completing the rehab assignment, the Orioles may not be keen on reinstating him from the 10-day injured list ahead of Thursday's game against the Red Sox, which begins at 1:05 p.m. ET. Before making a decision on whether to activate Henderson on Thursday or to delay his season debut until the weekend, the Orioles will wait and see how Henderson is feeling physically coming out of Wednesday's contest. After straining his right intercostal Feb. 27 and landing on the IL, Henderson has looked healthy through his first four rehab games, going 5-for-16 with a pair of home runs. Manager Brandon Hyde reiterated that Henderson will serve as the Orioles' everyday shortstop and leadoff hitter once he's activated.

Analysis: Laureano will pick up a second straight start as the Red Sox send a lefty (Garrett Crochet) to the hill once again. Though Colton Cowser (thumb) was placed on the injured list earlier this week, the Orioles will likely need one of Heston Kjerstad, Cedric Mullins or Tyler O'Neill to miss time before Laureano enters the mix for regular playing time versus righties.

Analysis: Kjerstad will head to the bench along with fellow left-handed hitters Ryan O'Hearn and Jackson Holliday while the Red Sox send southpaw Garrett Crochet to the bump. Ramon Laureano will join Cedric Mullins and Tyler O'Neill in the outfield while Kjerstad sits.

Analysis: Sanchez will draw his second start through the Orioles' first six games of the season. With Adley Rutschman likely to shoulder one of the heavier workloads among catchers league-wide this season, Sanchez's playing time could be sporadic so long as Rutschman maintains good health.

Analysis: The left-handed-hitting O'Hearn will take a seat as Boston sends southpaw ace Garrett Crochet to the bump. Adley Rutschman will get a start at designated hitter as Gary Sanchez starts at catcher, batting sixth.

Analysis: With lefty Garrett Crochet on the hill for the Red Sox, the left-handed-hitting Holliday will receive his first day off this season. Jorge Mateo will start at shortstop and Jordan Westburg will cover second base for the Orioles.

Analysis: Bautista labored Monday, needing 26 pitches to finish off the game. A Romy Gonzalez double and Jarren Duran single plated two runs to make this one interesting, but Alex Bregman popped out while representing the tying run to end the contest. Bautista is still working his way back into form after missing all of last season due to Tommy John surgery and likely won't work back-to-back days early on, but he'll have a day off before Wednesday's meeting with Boston.

Analysis: Mullins played a key part in each of Baltimore's two four-run innings; he doubled in a pair of runs in the first inning and brought home two more with a single in the eighth. Mullins has been on fire to start the 2025 campaign, going 7-for-18 (.350) with 10 RBI and three extra-base hits through five games. Last year, it took him 11 games to collect seven hits and 15 games to reach 10 RBI.
